I just got back from BP and they had 5 1lb jugs of 700X. Bought some 4064 to try out in my upcoming .223 loads. The only other possibility for .223 was 3031. Flipped a coin and came home with the 4064. :noidea:

What's the difference between IMR 700x and Hodgdon Hi Skor 700x?

    Looks like the same powder:

October 2003: Hodgdon Powder Company announces the asset purchase of IMR Powder Company Inc. IMR has been the mainstay of numerous handloaders for many years. The IMR brand product names remain and are now supplied by Hodgdon.

Which reloading supply store in the Mobile/Pensacola has the biggest/best selection of supplies?

Gold Mine, Bass Pro, and Styx seem to have the best selection I've found in Mobile and Baldwin County, depending on what they happen to have in stock that particular day. I'm not familiar with any of the places in Pensacola.

I had good results using IMR 4064 and 55gr bullets in .223, it was the first powder I used to load .223. Hopefully it will work good for you also.

Was at Goldmine today (as well as Styx River, Bass Pro, Ubers ) to name a few...here is a pic of what they have on hand...call before you roll just to double check. Sorry for the quality of the pics...Goldmine had the best overall prices. Bass Pro kinda high priced stuff as always..also .22 is starting to trickle in (50 rd packs mostly)
