Full coating an AR-15 with one color Carekote is an odd request for me. Especially making a black nitrided rifle, into a pea soup green. But guy wants his black rifle to be green and to keep it like it is as a great, at least to him, shooter. No cammo at all, just do it all in green. I sure think it would be better with at least black furniture and the green, but...... So we will get a bit of leaf green and disassemble, fill holes, tape threads, do a light blast on the already rough surface, and make it all split pea soup green. Hope he will go with black pins, safety, trigger, etc.

He said all green, so we will see when he brings his prize by.

Just had a 12ga purple Franchi come in for a do over, so they are out there. Who coats their bird gun shiny gloss purple? Oh the purple shotgun went out with satin burnt bronze metal and black plastic fine blasted stocks.
