In grizzly country 10mm handguns used for bear protection. If it will stop a griz it will certainly drop Bambi. Proper distance of course.

Yep, had a big talk with them yesterday. After I cleared up the " is it legal?" Nonsense questions.... After showing the photos of the exit hole and the fact it was DRT. No tracking and running around the woods, till 9pm unlike "most" of their shots. Told em, 10's for men.

Everyone who owns a gun is an “expert”.

Some of the BS that gets spouted is incredible.

Glocks are unsafe because they don’t have a traditional safety and silencers make it possible to kill people without making any sound.

I’ve got a buddy who went out west fly fishing last year. Specifically bought a 10mm for the trip. Ammo was available. It packs a punch.

Oh, now they are talking about "banning" the 5.56/.223 from use at the camp. Ie. MSR. I don't use the .223 except for yotes, 6.8 or 450b or 10mm for deer.

I grew up in a bush town in Alaska. As kids we carried shotguns and the adults carried large revolvers- Because in the willows next to the creeks/rivers there were bears. My brother is still in Alaska - 10 mm is the preferred carry piece in the bush.
Just saying, it’s hard to argue when people at risk prefer 10mm

You/they had better check the terminal ballistics of the 5.56 vs the 10mm. --- SAWMAN
I know, it's the Indian not the arrow. I'm not gonna shoot past the power/ range of the weapon nor take an iffy crap shot. The buck I got with the 10mm could have been taken with my 45 colt revolving carbine easy. (225gr ftx)

I understand where they are coming from because alot of the guys don't do like they should.
