Form 1 22lr can

I am looking to get a 22 form 1 can.

I have read quietbore are good and in stock but you have to file form 1 before ordering.

Anyone have other recommendations?

You have to have a serial number on the Form 1. Not sure how that would work. Do they tell you what your serial number will be?

You choose the serial number. Once the form 1 is approved, they etch the can and mail it out.

I can tell you, I sent my form 1 paperwork in, it was accepted on Oct 30, 2020 and I'm still waiting. I guess my paperwork went on the desk of the guy that took some time off.

They normally do, I know someone else that had 3 week turn around times. I don't know what is going on with mine, but I Googled it and found it's not uncommon. Just sucks, but with the cost of ammo, I'll just be staring at it anyways.

Typically yes. Mr. Fish on here had one take 8 months... I've done 2 myself and the longest wait was 16 days.

That was a form 4. A form 1 is a tax stamp to build your own. The price is about the same but form 4 probably has warranty and customer service if anything goes wrong. I'm on the fence over which form to file but I understand I better hurry up and choose before Biden does some dumb shit so form 1 is looking better atm for me

A form 4 is for a commercial built item. I form 1 is for a controlled item built by the end user. Tax stamp is the same $200. Wait time for a form 1 is generally under 1 month and a form 4 about 10 months.
