Fixed is always going to be stronger. I myself am a fan of the fix front “A” frame sight. If it’s on a free float rifle and it’s buis then steel will be stronger then plastic. I still prefer the DD fixed front and rear buis. Not a huge fan of the plastic but that’s just my opinion. If folks are being honest, most folks that have buis never zero them like they should and even fewer are proficient with them. Most just have them because they see the “tactical” guys have them. I’m a Rifleman not just a shooter, so I am very proficient with them. Weight and cost are a big factor when it comes to the buis. And if you are worried about running a RD with a fixed front, have no worries you won’t even paid attention to the front sight. Hope that helped, kinda felt like I was rambling.

I really prefer no iron sights on a rifle. Push comes to shove I can shoot almost as good without sights as I can with backup irons. If I need to take off the ACOG then i won’t be trying to shoot anyone several hundred yards away.

I've been finding this out the more I play with airsoft rifles. I can just about point the flash hid at what I want to shoot and hot within a couple inches at 20yd
