Looking to get my first can and now I’m just trying to figure out where to buy from. Who has purchased locally and had a good experience? Looking at Emerald Coast Indoor or Precision Tactical to buy from.

I bought from emerald coast indoor and have a great experience. They were able to take and process my fingerprints and passport pictures and filed all the paperwork on my behalf. Made the whole process very smooth and they had a very good selection from surefire, rugged, dead air, etc.

I bought 3 while Trump was in office, waited 7 months each on all 3.

I am at 10 months and counting on one bought after Biden took office.

E-file comes back this week and Emerald coast will hold my paperwork until it goes live and process that way, fingers crossed those go much faster.

Interesting to see if e-file makes the ATF move faster versus mailing paper.

How did you pay the $200 tax, credit card, check???

e-file is supposed to cut the wait time to about six weeks. I am waiting til it returns to buy mine.

I have a similar experience. I got my first that took 6 months and Iv been waiting 10 months now for the next two.

Not sure where ya live. But I'm near TNT in Foley AL. And they have a few in stock always and also do layaway. And I think if ya pay 50% they'll start the paperwork if I recall correctly. It's where I'm headed soon to get my first one

Do not expect 6 weeks with the new e file. From what I've read, nothing is expected to change wait wise.

I've got two I'm waiting on from April still. Got some spread out the rest of summer. Not sure what's just being slow and what's stemming from the coming transition but Form 3s have been taking a bit longer too. Once the eforms open up AND it's not a complete shit show. I'd expect the times to come down some but for anyone that's expecting less than 8 weeks is probably going to be very disappointed. I've got a little money on the system crashing several times before everything gets figure out.

But here's hoping I'm wrong and it's smooth and we all get 24hrs approvals!!

Update - according to ATF I was approved on on 12/13. Let’s see how long it takes to get the letter all the way to Milton.
