Front page of the Marine Corps newspaper they said the Marine Corps just disbanded all of their tank battalions and placed the tank crews into other positions. Said that the Marine Corps is getting ready to focus more on amphibious operations. Now, I wonder who those amphibious ops could be aimed at? Who just built three aircraft carrier groups from scratch almost overnight? And then also built airfields from scratch, right off of the sea floor, just off the coasts of every one of our allies in the South China Sea? China, folks. Oh, and then China built a 4,000 man refueling station at the bottom of the world so that they can get the Chinese carrier groups around the world without needing to go through the American influenced Panama Canal
Trump has always brought to our attention that instead of focusing on Russia, why not focus on China? However, they cannot act alone and be a threat. There has to be a network which enables the rising of another superpower.

Yes they can and are acting alone. And if we get boats of any sort anywhere near mainland China we're going to get our asses stomped

China certainly should be watched. Somethings never change in china and other things do. It has always been strictly ruled by a government group that set the rules for everything from how to build and how to do everything. The communist party runs it the same way that the emperors of old did. What is changeable is how aggressive they might be. The current communist party in the past was mainly interested in bordering countries, but it is not so limited these days. Still they are mostly interested in Asia. But if they got a refueling stop in the far southern ocean, then that is something else.

I believe they stole the information to build their military from us, so no, I do not think they are acting alone.

That does not mean they are acting alone.
In the mean time this was overlooked by the media:

That is just one American traitor.

If China can buy American traitors, it goes without saying they can buy other politicians, businessmen, actors, athletes and musicians in "lesser" countries.

I read an article once last year that said that what woke China up to modernize their military (and focus on offense rather than defense) was how thoroughly and quickly we stomped the opposition in 1991's Gulf War. They said "oh no, the US just did that to our buddies and they can do that to us'' and it kicked them and N. Korea into overdrive on military technology.

    What's a T-whatever tank up to nowadays?
70+ Tons. They have cooling for crew & sophisticated eletronics. They don't neet to expose crew to fire the top .50 or the coaxial 7.62. It can do about everything but drive on APU.

SWAG: Might try a "Rescue" type airbag system between turret and body to immobilize turret. Its got to breath and has levels of filtration and particle seperation. With enough water flow (500 gpm+?)you can overwhelm the intake system, probably eaiser to screw the fuel air mixture turbo shaft engine needs by increasing introduction gaseous combustibles or non combustibles gases depleting air which will flow right through the filtering system.

Problem is, ground troops keep pests away an one tank can scratch anothers back.

On that killer dozer a few years back: get a few bottles and a torch on the top start and cutting a hole over the drivers seat, he'll move! Might start seat or other stuff burning and smoke get him, before you drop a charge in there. Gallon of gas and road flares or a pound of BP and cannon fuze would do it in that confined space.

Video on the Killdozer said that guy had concrete sandwiched between layers of steel. Maybe the concrete would have insulated from heat?

It was difficult to find a video without propaganda.
    My husband says:

"As awful a liberal a magazine as Rolling Stone is (we had just sewn a reference to them) they did have excellent journalism in article about Bush corruption in Iraq. Billions in cash flown in with absolutely no accounting, building projects totalling hundreds of millions with documented cases of new hospital buildings and the like being abandoned because the plumbing leaked everywhere, the wiring was hopeless and the buildings unsound, etc. The rest of the media would attack Bush on anything and everything that was mere political difference. But everyone else, never a word on Deep State corruption which the parties and media were all out to protect. A tremendous amount of lies re Iraq. It makes zero sense that Saddam had no discoverable WMD yet let Iraq be invaded rather than allow as he had agreed inspectors to see that there were none. Unless he was doing as told, a puppet given power and wealth so long as he served an agenda."
