A body die should be easy enough to use with some sizing wax. With all the places selling reman ammo out there now I see issues more and more. A body die doesn't have an expander and you can size a live round with it. It doesn't size the neck just the body.

Is that safe to do?

Just stick a live cartridge in and press it into a sizing die?

yes sir, the shell holder will protect the primer..you do need to be mindful it is a live round and treat it as such. If you use wax or even mink oil as a lub it will wipe off easily. It doesn't take nearly as much wax to lub a case as spray on or other types of lube...a lil dab will do ya . A body die only pushes the shoulders back and sizes...it has no affect on the neck.

Well, they went home and I did manage to get one of the cases out with the suppressor rod someone on the forum set me up to a few months ago. Shed is almost done and Im looking forward to filling it with all sorts of stuff from the garage.

Those doors took forever to get square and hang right.
