Just curious as to why I was first to send a message about an item and never even got acknowledged by you then someone else posts that they sent a pm and you mark the add SPF. Am I missing something here?

You are correct however I spoke to the other gentleman who inquired and he recieved a response

Just quit "Sending PM" and say "I'll take it" for petes sake. Most Pm's sent simply say "Any Trades?"
If I want to accept trades, I say so in ad, and then there are those who can't tell what they have to trade' "What you looking for?" What you got? , back and forth for 2 days. Then they just ghost you and have wasted 2 days of your time!

If I wouldn't have purchased an identical pistol a couple weeks ago off the forum for $200 I would said simply replied I'll take it. There should be no shame in price haggling

The bottom line I was getting to was seeing if someone did infact message him without commenting on the post prior to me messaging in which case I would have totally understanded not having the first chance to negotiate. However no one messaged prior to me.

You aren’t ENTITLED to ANYTHING.
The seller decides what’s their best course of action.
Your first impression/communication was to Haggle.
The seller decided to do something else with his time.

A simple "I'm firm at $400" would have surficed and a deal would have been made. But to just flat out ignore the intrest of an item for sale to a potential buyer is bad business. This forum is turning into AK files more and more by the day
