J Pace, go thru Leroy on my way to land I have access to which is east of Jackson. Have not seen many doves there. Do you do a special planting on your land to bring the doves in?

It's in a cornfield with Millet planted around the edges

About 25 years ago I leased a 120 acre cornfield from a farmer in Allentown.
Put together 20 friends and co-workers and we had some really good shoots for cheap.

beat to plant for doves, start knocking down rows, really good if you have a lot of pressure to not hint the first week and give them a safe spot - then have your hunt on week 2 or 3.

You also need enough people to keep the dove moving.

Worked at the Navarre water treatment plant for a little while, seeing all those dove perched on those screens eating human shit from sun up to sun down made me think of all the dove I ate as a kid, if a water treatment plant is within 100 miles of my hunt I’m getting McDonalds !
