They are now strictly companion animals. When the Brits outlawed bull baiting some fellow bred them for gentleness and being a companion animal. They are not considered outside dogs. Mine never leave my side. I go to the gun room, so do they. I go to watch TV, yep they're right beside me. They are the funniest breed of dog I have ever had. They get into running fits, turn flips and just go berserk. They also do a weird thing called "trancing". They focus on something and start moving towards it like they're in slow motion, then they snap out of it and take off.

The "Zoomies" and "Target Fixation". Lol. Your probably get the Bully Feint Charge too? Part of Zoomies being the "Drive By" full speed straight or curved pass and barely brush you with her fur. She tears up the heavy duty black Kong toys in 3 to 4 weeks. Every other toy advertised for heavy chewers wont last a day (fire hose, rope, rubber), plastic treat feeder ball didn't last 15 minutes! Great with kids, 2YO intro was two minutes of sniffing and they have been thick as thieves ever since. He falls on her, puts hand/arms/feet in her mouth and fingers in ears! They only get together about very six months and pick up right where they left off. Mine doesn't just follow, when l stop she has got to be in contact: sits on my foot, leans on me or lays across some part of me; only exception is she uses her own bed at night. She's very animated and vocally expressive to get you attention and specifically what she wants, a bark is her last resort. Lol

FYI some still use them for working dogs from FB Hunting/ Sporting Bull Terrier Breeding

The purpose of this group is to network with breeders across the world who are breeding Bull Terriers with a disposition for hunting and or work in Sports. (Not dog fighting or other illegal matters). Future litters of potential working Bull Terriers can be shared in group for sales. This Is under the condition that you demonstrate the working ability of dam and sire. Examples: weight pulling, protection or bite work, dock diving, and hunting. Any post violating these conditions will be automatically deleted. Puppy peddlers are not welcomed in this group. We are only interested in seeing and evaluating Bull Terriers that are functional with working abilities.

Just how long did that foot ball remain inflated after that picture lol.

Ball only lasted about 3 minutes. Completely shredded in about an hour.
Only toy we can buy that last is a wheel barrow tire from tractor supply. They last about a month.

What I recall reading is that it is the other way around that dogs can catch it from us. Anyway the only time my dogs leave the yard is to go to the vet and even though I have one that I would like to take there, since it is not life threatening she is not going and neither am I.

Never too old to have fun. I found her with this sock in her mouth this morning. She is put out side at night to guard. I went to go get her in the morning and this was in her mouth. One can see the bedding chips on it. It likely blew off the fence where it was being dried.

Exactly one (1) dog in China that belonged to a Womant (who tested Positive): Tested a a "weak positive" which has high probibility of being an environmental contact (she passed it to the dog). The dog has been quarantined under observation and further testing and has not displayed any symptoms. Dog and human biology being different the bug hasn't adapted to thrive in a dog.

Unless your "dog" looks like this, your okay. It's coronavirus matching was only 90% to COVID-19.
