Day drinking was discussed in another post and it got me thinking.

What are your rules for Day Drinking?

    Mine-
In Florida we go by Florida rules:
10am on any day is ok.
Fishing is ok as soon as you are on the boat.
Any special occasion at any hour.

(Of course - no drinking and driving and stay safe - if you need help get it)

Any time your not doing the following things: Shooting, hunting, driving or reloading.
I would have to add cutting a large white oak tree down with a chainsaw ! My FIL and BIL cut down said tree while consuming a bottle of Old Charter  Tree fell on carport roof that was protecting my MIL's new Lincoln

Amateur hour. I cut down hundreds of trees while intoxicated and I could tell you within a few inches where it would land.

Half of them we cut while standing on the bucket or forks on the front of a tractor.

Years ago the first question (or consideration) was "who's buying?" I didn't think I drank too much...who doesn't ? My better half continually complained and it wasn't a comfortable hobby. Then, after I retired, with a reduced income, I discovered I could should quit and save those few dollars every week and save up for little things that went "pew pew." It's easier to hide those from my little wife...makes me and her happy.

Fusion liquor store on hwy 90 near gulf coast gun has a humidor and a very nice selection of stogies. From spendy to quite reasonable and lots in-between.

Order online. There are some decent cigars in that range - but the secret is to get enough at first so that you can age them. Put a few years age on these and they are surprisingly great.

In this area a fridgador (wine fridge with humidity control) is the best bet.
