I like your thinking there G-Rat, I pair my 317 with a buckmark rifle lightweight Barrel, and my model 18 plays well with this old Remington. The hunt is not always about The Kill, just being out in the woods sitting down by an old oak tree, if there's nothing stirring in the woods you can always just sat there and admire the classic firearms you brought alongNice choices! I still go to my old S&W model 17-2 with 5"bbl or 10/22. If I'm feeling space age, Airweight 317 with 3"bbl... the aluminum aloy joy! Mad respect to the lever gun tho.
That sure is some deep typing. Lol(In the voice of John Wayne) just a little advice their friend don't be calling no Cowboy a pilgrim.
I doubt it was intended that away but damn that sounds depressing. Just to show that there's hope for life in retirement I thought I'd post an update. Back after the tree rats again this morning enjoyed roughly a mile hike through the woods( without getting lost or sorling my pants) collected these two and yes my eyes are still good enough to take headshots with open sights.( as long as the sun's out) could have taken more but 2 was all I need for gravy and cathead biscuits this morning.I hope when I get to this point that I'm alert enough, and have the money to do it.
Alzhiemers has been linked to the anti cholesterol meds. Those meds melt cholesterol, and your body has two types, and your brain is almost 100% made of the good kind of cholesterol. Well unfortunately the anti cholesterol meds can't distinguish between good and bad cholesterol... so people end up giving themselves alzhiemers instead of a heart attack. Eat more salad and fish and olive oil. As far as the motorcycles, I'm firmly "over the hill" and just got back from my longest ride ever. Over 1,200 miles in 2.5 days. I found myself with a scheduled 4 days off in a row and I went to visit family a way south of Fort Myers for Thanksgiving... then I got called in to work... Never slow down, never grow oldI hope when I get to this point that I'm alert enough, and have the money to do it.
