[The class is the NRA Basic Pistol / FL Concealed Weapons Permit class. It covers safety, hands on classroom training, live fire training at the range, personal gun selection, cleaning/caring for a firearm and the laws/rules/procedures for the FL Concealed Weapons Permit. I also have a section of the class dedicated to personal defense with a firearm. It is not necessary to own a firearm to attend the class as I have demo models. If you own a firearm I recommend you bring it to class so you can train with it. We typically spend 3 to 3 1/2 hours in the classroom and about an hour on the range. I hold the public classes in the conference rooms at Homewood Suites by Pensacola Airport (or your location for a private class of 3 or more students). The class is $75 per student and may be paid in cash, money order or local check.

I don't know if you're 100% clear on this, but Wayne is offering a course that allows you to apply for the CC permit. You can't even apply for the permit unless you
complete the course. It may be weeks or months after you finish the class that you'll be able to get your permit, you'll have to call the Fort Walton office and check their schedule. Wayne can give you every word of the info you'll need. You can trust Wayne to lead you through this and his fee is nominal. Did I take his course? No, I just know him from hundreds of miles of dirt bike riding together and his years of effort to secure an OHV park near Whiting.
