I drove to Crestview yesterday to meet up with Rifle Builder SOT (who is a good guy by the way) and saw 4 deputies set up with radar between here and there on I-10.
Looking for some of that spring break money no doubt.
So slow it down if you are on the interstate.

Just west of the 10/85 intersection is a known hunting ground for drug traffic. Mind if I have a look?

Could be they are just trying to slow the fool's down before they kill/hurt themselves or others. Keep up the good work and thanks.

Every square foot of that interstate is already under video surveillance with license plate readers. If they're out there in force parked on the interstate then they're out there for speeding tickets
soo... if you drove down it without a tag, do you think it could tell and perhaps alert a Trooper?

No. Former coworker did just that for years and never got in trouble. He bought his bike cash money from the dealer right off of the truck, told the dealer he'd handle the tag and then never did. He ran it for years with no tag, even in police escorted rides, and all up and down I-10, 87 South and North and Hwy 98 from Destin to Perdido going to work, too. He got lucky...but nobody gets that lucky. Cops just weren't paying attention

From the Alabama state line to Jacksonville, there is a camera almost a mile apart. Sometimes there is two if a single camera can't see both lanes. Makes me wonder if the tall fence is really for keeping out wildlife or for protecting what they are moving between Jacksonville naval, Tyndall, Eglin and Nas

The thought often crossed my mind that one of the reasons for the fence was to keep someone from bolting out of a pulled over vehicle and into the woods....

There has been a spate of fatal crashes on I-10 in recent months. Somebody has to be driving like a fool to cause a fatal wreck on I-10. They are doing directed enforcement as a result. Speed is a big factor in fatal crashes as well as stupid driving. Trying to keep I-10 from becoming like I-95.

No , the interstate doesnt have license plate readers , patrol cars do.
Wrong! There ARE license plate readers on I-10. We’ve caught several stolen vehicles with them.

There is a license plate reader at Hwy 29 and Hwy 4 also. Plus, your phone knows exactly where you are.
