They are going to make felons out of law abiding gun owners by simply changing the law. The people who brought this law to vote and the ones who voted for it are the real felons.

I like to see 3 million plus people show up to the capital with a unregistered mag and sit back and watch a month long arrest take place and jails fill up, towns go into financial ruins etc. Think they would actually open up the FEMA camps?

Are these states really prepared to feed/house mass defiance? Damn sheeple!

Insanity.... I guess if you make it difficult enough some folks will just give them up.

"They're being very cautious," Odishoo said. "We do have a lot of people coming in turning in a lot of guns, turning in magazines. They just don't want to deal with it."

once again ,law abiding citizens will be turned into criminals and the real criminals will be laughing the whole time cause they won't be turning their guns in.

This could very well be our future. Remember the Clinton era, and if you haven't already. PLEASE, join the NRA.

I guarantee they haven't seen but the tip of the iceberg. I bet there will be harrassment (checks) at the local gun ranges, checking for contraband, to keep the people of the state "safe". For folks who shoot on private property, there will be state officers who respond to the report of a gun just in case. The people of Ct. need to band together and vote the turds out and repeal these ludicris laws. As Dan said above, join the NRA. At the very least join some pro-gun organization who is willing to be our voice on capitol hill

They get what they deserve and what WILL happen to them as a result of this law. Legal gun owners will abide by the law! Criminals by definition do NOT abide by the law! So when the murder , robbery , and rapes go through the roof they look right at each other or in the mirror and say " I'm a dumbass!!!" Libtard States get what they deserve because they are Libtards!!!! Look at the States with the highest gun related crimes. All of them are Liberal States!

I'm having a Groundhog Day flashback to the sweeping series of laws in Germany post WW1... (from wiki) not even including the 1938 Nazi ones...this all pre-Hitler....

In 1919, the German government passed the Regulations on Weapons Ownership, which declared that "all firearms, as well as all kinds of firearms ammunition, are to be surrendered immediately."[2] Under the regulations, anyone found in possession of a firearm or ammunition was subject to five years' imprisonment and a fine of 100,000 marks.

On August 7, 1920, rising fears whether or not Germany could have rebellions prompted the government to enact a second gun-regulation law called the Law on the Disarmament of the People. It put into effect the provisions of the Versailles Treaty in regard to the limit on military-type weapons.

In 1928, after a near decade of hyperinflation destroyed the structural fabric of the society, a rapidly expanding three-way political divide between the conservatives, National Socialists, and Communists prompted the rapidly declining conservative majority to enact the Law on Firearms and Ammunition. This law relaxed gun restrictions and put into effect a strict firearm licensing scheme. Under this scheme, Germans could possess firearms, but they were required to have separate permits to do the following: own or sell firearms, carry firearms (including handguns), manufacture firearms, and professionally deal in firearms and ammunition. This law explicitly revoked the 1919 Regulations on Weapons Ownership, which had banned all firearms possession.
