My daughter hand raised a turkey. That dang gobbler is meaner than my dogs. He bites and punches with his wing tips. Even attacks my car.

A friend in Arizona was gifted an ostrich by a neighbor who said It got to big to handle.
He was putting out feed for his animals and it bit him. He spun around and punched it in the head breaking its neck and killing it. He said the resulting meat was delicious. And there was lots of it.

    ANYONE NEED A ROOSTER?
i got this mess of chicks from McMurry Hatchery in February so they are young. i ordered all sexed hens but this guy slipped thru somehow. he is a good looking Dominique but a rooster isnt part of my plan right now so i am trying to find him a good home. acceptable trades: a box of 223, 308, 12 or 20 gauge, or if you have any GI speed loader chargers or bandoliers.

Well to say my young tom is mean is an understatement. Went to feed a few days ago and there was tom feathers everywhere leading into the swamp. I lost the trail and figured the yote got him. Came back from feeding at the barn and the tom was waiting for me at the gate. He looked like rocky after his first movie lol, but he beat the coyote. He is healing up and waiting on another bout with that yote.
