    I was curious if you guys have any information on CC in a boat. Specifically Alabama.

    This question gets worry some when you go threw state waters to federal. Also I have been on trips where we pass threw different state waters etc...

    If anyone has information or can point me in the right direction I would appreciate it.

    I know there are no federal restrictions.
    I need to read up on AL myself.

    Pretty sure hunting or fishing you can carry, open if you wish. I had friends that lived and traveled on their Trawler, The both carried, had a riot gun on board and a cannon on the deck!

    Thanks guys I am just trying to be cautious. Most times I just leave it at home but seeing how every Tom, Dick & Bubba will be on the water tomorrow I am contemplating bringing one. It is the Alabama Rodeo this weekend. I usually avoid fishing in the bay during it but a friend from out of town wants to go.

    I know you can have a 22 rifle or shotgun fishing in a river just did not know if a concealed weapon was different. Also a few times a year I get to go with some friends all the way out to the floating rigs which would be in Federal waters.

    I carry my G26 open on the boat. Never worried about offending a shark. Alabama marine patrol has never had an issue. Neither has FWC or the coast guard.

    Good Information thanks. I would be surprised if I do not at least see the Marine Police tomorrow.

    In Florida,

    (3) LAWFUL USES.—The provisions of ss. 790.053 and 790.06 do not apply in the following instances, and, despite such sections, it is lawful for the following persons to own, possess, and lawfully use firearms and other weapons, ammunition, and supplies for lawful purposes:

    (h) A person engaged in fishing, camping, or lawful hunting or going to or returning from a fishing, camping, or lawful hunting expedition;

    Alabama.

    If you can find it in here, let me know.

    Carry my glock on tensaw all the time. Usually on bow of boat while bass fishing and Game Warden has never had a problem with it either.

    A lot of good anecdotal information.

    I'd like to see it in print for Alabama.

    The Florida statutes are clearly written. Alabama's, not so much.
