I’m going to be bringing a friend to an up coming two gun match. He will be sharing my AR. Can he run stages with it with the suppressor still on it or do I need to remove it?

    EDIT:
I did better research, Grits1/5 is right. You can supervise the use of the can.

One thing to consider when two people running a can, you'll be sending a lot of rounds through it with fewer breaks. The thing gets hot.

With you being present, there should be no issue. I’ve fired many of different friend’s class 3 items over the years, and you can even rent class 3 weapons at some gun ranges, so as long as you are present with him, I don’t think there is any issue. I don’t believe that you could loan it to him, if you weren’t there, as you are accountable for any class 3 items that are registered to you. But with you are there with him, you should be good to go.
