Ok I’ve been reloading for a few years now, have concentrated only on handgun and now wanting to load up some rifle cartridges. It seems that die sets are like golden hens teeth currently so I’ve been looking all over the internet for some 30-06 dies. I have Lee pacesetter in 30-30 and 45-70 that are 2 die sets so I figured to just buy each Lee die separate. issue I ran into was that there are two bullet seating dies, one regular and one called a dead length. Only outward difference I see is the dead length one has no facets on the die body for a wrench or is knurled. Is there any real difference...? Thanks for any input. I actually found a RCBS set new I may get, just trying to learn something new here...
