I’ve been casting handgun boolits for years…I do the HF shake-n-bake, size and shoot. So far .45ACP, 40 S&W, .38, 9mm, and .327 Fed Magnum. I plan on 45-70, 30-06/.308 for my M1’s and also 30-30 soon.

    Those look great!
I had good luck with one coat of HF red.
Those black ones look good and I’ll have to give that color a go!

    I size mine after coating.
    Do you?

Yes I size after 2x shake-n-bake HF powder coat paint…1 coat never seems to cover 100%, works good for a cheap bastard that I am. Still on the first bottle of HF paint…not even sure if they still sell it. The Eastwood black powder was a donation from a Nieghbor, works great also. I need some white and blue powder for when I start to reload 150 gn. boolits for the Garand…
