Hey Mullet, I know you're probably looking locally, but if you don't find anything, Boyds Gun Stocks has the short and long action replacement for $74.00 on their site, think it might be what you're looking for? It's their "Classic" listed under Browning?

He crippled up the deer and shot out of bullets, so he decided he would butt stroke the deer to death with his browning....:smash::smash:

Nah really he was in a 12ft double ladder stand with his 8year old son, he had it leaning up until the son kicked the but of the gun and down she went.....

I told him about Boyd's, he said he wasn't going back with wood. He said synthetic only so I told him if it were me I would put a B&C medalist on it and improve the accuracy while I was at it. If we can find a used factory wood, or synthetic for the right price we would go that route also...

I have a couple of Boyd's laminates and really like them. That might be a route to go if he's looking for something stronger than regular wood.

That was quite the putter throw there happy gilmore. A drop from that height is going to break the weakest part of the rifle. Personally I'd hate to put a synthetic stock and something more expensive to fix breaks. Just this cheap ass' opinion. Just like the old Ford 302 4x4 that kept breaking motor mounts, strengthen the mounts and it broke the frame.
