Don’t rule out a tripod with an ARCA/Swiss ball head. Locking into your tripod takes seconds with this style adapter. You can use your tripod for much more than an expensive set of shooting sticks. I have adapters on my spotting scope, range finder and Labrador along with adapters on my bolt guns. I have also seen an AR handgaurd that is cut for ARCA

Does anyone have one of the BOG shooting tripod? How well does it work? How do you like it? I’m thinking I need one in my life and was wanting an honest review…
I don't have a BOG but a primos trigger stick with 2 point gun rest. Welcome to check it out when we get back. Love it for sitting and shooting!

    Milton/ Allentown line…
i received my Death Grip Carbon last week sometime and immediately to it out to the range “back yard” and began using it. My first statement on it is where has this been all my life? Man I love this thing works perfect sitting in my shop chair and plinking away. So Friday I was in my pharmacy picking up meds and I asked My pharmacist if he has ever heard of the Bog. His reply was so you want one, he stated he has one that he doesn’t use and I could have it so now I have two… I suggest everyone get two… they are that cool

I love my Deathgrip. I've seen videos on YouTube now where people are putting them on back of pickup trucks and making homemade technicals out of them. Combined with a KNS spadegrip you basically have a Toyota with a MG on the back lol. Very versatile. I like how you can alter the stance of them however you want. They even have a built in level too. Can't ask for much more than that. I got mine on sale from Amazon for 120$ a while back.

I have a BOG deathgrip and I like it a lot. The game changer isn’t necessarily the BOG deathgrip though, the game changer is just using a tripod. The BOG is nice and universal, but you can take any decent quality tripod, and use an Arca Swiss style mount on it, and save money and weight over the BOG.

Yeah, I nearly bought two. They're higher now. Closest I see is 155ish all the way up to 300+ for some models with carbon fiber and camo. Tbh even 160 isn't bad for what you get. I checked other types and they all require doohickeys and adapters etc. Stuff I'd rather not have to buy and attach to guns to get them to work. I like the clamp system. I could even clamp my phone in place and record with it if I wanted really fast.
You may be able to find one cheaper by checking if the Amazon seller has used ones to sell. I've seen some gear for cheap that way. I should have posted a link here when they was 120. Sorry lol

I just typed "best price bog Deathgrip" into Google and saw some interesting results. Scroll over two or three photos and I see some places selling them at 60$+ lol. Scams maybe? I dunno?

Probably scams. I'm on the hunt for one. I think the clamp only opens to 2.5 inch?. Not sure what the width of the forend is on her howa legacy? I also need a 5rd mag for it.

Mine opens 2 3/4s, with about a 1/16ths play. Almoooossst 2 7/8s. Not sure if the rubber pads come out of the jaws. If so it's an even 3" jaw to jaw on the metal. But just say 2 and 3/4s to be safe
