Best design overall in my mind is the tracker design attributed to Tom Brown. I bought a cheap Chineese one years ago, and ended up liking it so I bought a Damascus version made by a knife smith in Texas. Always wanted a good Damascus knife. Will have to drag it out for a shot as I cannot find a pic of it on here. Below are the cheap introduction tracker, and a CS Tanto in sheaths made by local member Jogan.

If you like Tom Browns knife you should take a look at EJ Snyder's knife. Both are made by Tops. EJ improved on Tom's design after taking Tom's knife all across the world on Naked and Afraid and other shows. Prior to all that, EJ was an instructor for the jungle school right here in our own backyard.

That tip looks like its actually in line with the angle of thrust! Most Bowie's aren't

After a 15 year field test trying to break or destroy it. I know it won't be featured in any tesorone fueled movie. Ontario made. The saw actually works, the blade is 1/4 inch. Has very good weight, like a cleaver. If you need a real outdoors tool this is it. The sheath is as tough as the knife is, no wimpy cheap nylon sock.

Thanks, added to my Wish List in Amazon! I have plenty of knives but I'm always looking for another good one and with two boys I need to have enough that I can pass them down to them with my guns!
