    No such thing.
    260Rem . . OR . . 338Fed . . take your pick.
Read up on the 338. Puts out quite a bit of power over the 308Wiin. Pretty much . . same speed with a somewhat heavier bullet.
You really ought to have one. ---- SAWMAN

After much reading im going to go with med height rings for the scope. As soon as I settle on a scope ill figure out if I need 1 inch or 30mm. Thinking about getting a fixed power one. As I don't plan on using this rifle for shots under 100 yards.

If you are putting this on a AR you need taller rings than that. At least 1" but 1.25-1.50" would be better. For 30mm main tube scope very slightly lower. Still >1.0".
There was a Browning 7mm-08 for sale on here that would be your "damn near do everything" gun.
If you need a 30mm Burris PEPR,I will sell you one. --- SAWMAN

And - - -> In the AR platform and unless you reload - - -> my choice of chambering between a 260Rem and a 6.5C would be the 6.5C. Lots more "support" for that perticular chambering. (Only reason) ---- SAWMAN

The rifle has the ultra high rail.( highest ive seen on an AR) Pic in here somewhere. Cantilever mount would make it chin weld I think. I haven't actually even held the rifle yet so I'm guessing.

Understood James. NOW I remember you posting a pic of that gun awhile back. Sorry for the brain fart.
I have several different sized (height) rings that you are welcome to try. Most are Burris Extreme Tactical.
Just for your added info. - - -> chin weld is what you do with a woman . . Cheek weld is what you do with your gun.
No need to thank me. ---- SAWMAN
