I have a baby Browning 25 for sale. It is marked "Made in Belgium". Serial number shows made in 1967. Comes with one mag and the Browning gun rug for it. $500 OBO
I do not know. This came from my brother-in laws estate and he inherited it from his dad.
I know the grips have been on the gun for the past 20 plus years, and from photos I know they sometimes had these peal like grips. Sorry I can not be more informative.
As I can’t say whether or not this one came with those grips, they were offered from the factory with them, usually on the stainless/nickel (idk what finish that is, assuming it’s stainless), with a gold trigger.
" With the exception of special order nickel-plated units and the above-mentioned versions, all of the 1931 Baby Browning pistols were finished in chemical hot blue. The halt to exports to the US in 1968 was mandated by the Gun Control Act of 1968 - which was precipitated by Robert Kennedy's assassination involving an Iver Johnson manufactured revolver."
If you want to add a Made in Belgium Browning this super clean classic is likely the cheapest you will ever be able to do so!! Next bump, I will add some better pics.
That case itself is collectible to some.
I bought a used Ruger Mk1 in the late 80s and it came in a Browning case like that, just a little bigger.
Browning Hi Powers came in cases like it, I believe in the 1960s.
I was looking on GB the other day and such a case brought $100.
Price is in the original post. If you want to make an offer, use the contact method mentioned. In this new software it is called "Start a Conversation".
I sure wish someone would by this. Would go quite nicely with my HP, and 1922, it's quite tempting....other priorities unfortunately, though I may eventually change mind if it's up later in the week. Until then, here's another bump at least.
