If you have time, it's well worth looking up and watching the show called "Arming America" on Amazon Prime! It's not what you think it might be and I learned a ton!!!!!

For example, many people credit people such as Henry Ford for the assembly line and the industrial revolution in our country. When in fact, it was the gun industry that brought our country into the industrial age!

    Here is the trailer.

Good program and I learned a few things too. Like the guy who invented the safety pin and sewing machine also designed the first bullet that held the powder used a primer. Well worth a watch IMO.

Firearms were one of the first items to required parts made to tolerances since they needed to be interchangeable. I have not watch the video yet.

Yup. Civil Ear era that became a big deal for repairs in the field.

Anyone else watch this show? I don't have Amazon Prime.. Really don't feel like giving them my money.

Somewhat surprised that something like that is on Amazon Prime...

It's a great show and it surprised me to be on there as well. Very factual and historical without much political garbage at all! If you can find a way to watch it, it's worth the time.
