Guys, this would be a good upper for someone wanting to build an XM177E2 inspired carbine. The NDS (Nodak Spud) upper receiver is good stuff. They do not come any better. The "B" usually indicates a blem, but they are usually a small cosmetic blem. Barrel is not correct as it is .75" at the gas journal, but it is .625" past the FSB. The FH is a correct style for an XM177E2 and even has a correct grenade ring. 6-hole handguards are also correct. The flat slip ring is not correct, but can be changed out with a Delta ring if you know how. It also has a correct type port door. All in all, this is a good upper assembly and worth every penny.

The B is in the casting. Their site says blem uppers are not marked because there isn't a good place to hide it.
Not saying it is or isn't a blem.
Their lowers are stamped with a B for blem.

Unclear on the twist. Barrel is bare and I didn't have a tool to inspect under the handguard. The ring is really tight. It has been traded as of this evening.
