    So, there's this Colt Match Target Lightweight AR in 7.62x39.
    Super rare. But the slow 1:12 twist barrel makes me wonder if that's why it's so rare. I checked a couple other similar barrels I have, And they are marked 1:10.
    So, given common available AK ammo, what kinds of effect does this have on ballistics?

    Strange... I think Chinese are 1:9.45"... which looks like a dang corkscrew, for some reason... can't believe it's not faster : )

    So a slower spin effects ballistic coefficient. In what ways?
    Should this be in the AK thread? Or other?

    I knew it didn't sound right.
    And just guessing... but don't quote me on this... it seems a 1:12" should be fine with standard loads... might even have an advantage... if they can run massive subsonics in 1:9 & 1:8

    Try it and let us know : )
