Better to use a 14.5” cut, threaded and crowned, usually the same price as having a Good ‘Smith hook you up.. As far as distance and velocity... Nothing to worry about. 400 yds. on open sights, 12“ x 12” plate, w/62 gr is standard fare with proficient marksmanship skills..(1:7,1:8 twist, reputable barrel ) before someone snipes me.
