AR-12 vs AK-12, which do you prefer?

Interested in hearing the opinions of my fellow Gulf Dwellers! Do you prefer AR12 (RIA, Panzer, UTAS, etc) style shotguns or AK12 (Saiga, VEPR, Lynx) style shotguns?

OK this is another not helpful post, but I hope a question isn't out of line. I also prefer a Mossy pump or a traditional autoloader (Benelli, etc...) for reliability. For the AR/AK shotgun is this mostly just for a fun range gun? I can def see the attraction for that. Or is it intended for serious use?

The saiga 12 bolt carrier and rod extension have a design flaw and tend to crack.
