No, I've seen a few forums of people getting permits in less than 3 weeks in other parts of Florida . I was told it would take a month to get an appointment and got to choose a day and could have gone next day. So I'm curious if processing time has picked up.

My sister recently got hers by taking all documentation to the storefront location in Gulf Breeze I think it was. She got hers in two weeks.

It was likely Fort Walton she went to, I forget which since they are close together. Timing is just chance of how thick they are loaded when you hit the door!

Can't wait to strap on the Wilson! Can you? ")

Me, I got mine in 2 weeks. I've had my permit for quite a while though. It's got some nice muzzle wear from the leather. :)

I have to admit though, as hot as it is outside, I've been carrying the 357 quite a bit more, and the P238 before that. I carried the 1911 all winter though.

My wife and I applied in Ft. Walton on the same day. She got hers in about 3 weeks. Took a bit over 2 months for mine. I think they just don't like redheads.
