My bro-in-law had to temporarily move to a restricted state for his insurance business and left a few rifles in my possession, one of which is this "Vision Defense V-15". He's asked me to see what I can sell some of the rifles for, and I was considering buying this one off of him. Has anyone ever heard of these guys, or have any idea what its worth? Not many marks on the rifle besides the standard lower stuff. Bolt head is MPIed, and the carrier seems smooth and glides well. Barrel is M4 profile marked 223 Wydle 1:8 USA.

I'd consider myself a firearms enthusiast, but I don't know much about AR brands and values. Opinions and input appreciated!

Also used to be called Vision armory - have some not so great reviews. The son of the founder of Vision Armory created Vision Defense - Both places no longer exist.

Looks like Vision Armory went out of business in 2017

"Allegedly" - from what I can find on other forums

Vision Defense in Middlebury was shuttered. He heard place cleaned out...CNC machines included...and that the ATF was looking for him...issued duplicate serial numbers...wow. Anyone else hear anything about this? I went to their web site https://www.visiondefense.net/ and a banner notice across the top says:

Vision is currently experiencing technical difficulties and is not accepting online orders at this time. We apologize for any inconvenience.

To me it looks like a small company that tried to make cheaper ARs and went out of business, if you have one that works, awesome. I'd assume its like any Anderson or similar "budget" AR - Not knocking them, most of mine are "budget" and they all work great. :)
