    Particularly this model:

i like the gun however checking to see if anyone has any real world experience with one. I have never seen a Chiappa Lever gun until I looked on their site. Anyway I’m wanting a .357 to keep handy on my SXS for critters around the farm. It’s either gonna be this, an old marlin or a Winchester 1892 in .357. One main concern is if has the ability to cycle and fire .38special. Anyway cool looking gun and appears well made. Just wanting some feed back before I bite the bullet… thanks!

Did not know that they offered all these different models. Some extremely interesting offers here.
Are these offered to US buyers ?? (Imported ??)
What are the prices in US Dollars ($) ??
Does the linked site have OWNERS MANUALS ??
Thanks for posting this .... I stand enlightened. ---- SAWMAN

I can't find that exact model, but found something close. They are pricey. The S.S. takedown seem to be right around the same $ range.

Wondering what price is a NON takedown.
I would have no desire to own a takedown even if they were the same price.
HOWEVER - -> some of the O/U combo guns DO INTEREST ME. As do the lever guns. ---- SAWMAN

I'm seeing an average of about $50-$75 more for takedown model, that's wholesale & MSRP. I never thought of Chiappa as "expensive".

I would love to have a Winchester 1892 but I’m wanting the 16” barrel and I have yet to find one with a 16” barrel, which led me to the chiappa. Whatever I get I will send it to Cody Conagher to do his thing with it.

Just bought a new Winchester (Miroku) 92 take down trapper (16") in .357 a couple of months ago for about $1500. Seems like a nice rifle but maybe a little muzzle heavy possibly due to the octagon barrel. I'd been looking about 9mos and finally found one online.

The octagonal barrels are ridiculously heavy. No need for then in a working gun.

Very nice, I’m wanting to go as light as I can but still wanting quality. I’m thinking I may just get an older Winchester if I can find one.

    Have you looked at Henry.
They have quite a few offerings,in many different configurations and chamberings, but they aint cheap.
FUNNY. - -> not many on the used market. Are the buyers simply holding on to these weapons, not many produced or - -> ??? ---- SAWMAN

I picked up this Trapper model 30-30 not long ago . I have it laying by a standard model 30-30 for comparison. It shoots extremely well. I don't think that the 16 inch barrel is that rare I think when people get their hands on them they hold on to them, if I ever see the 357 at a decent price I intend to scoop it up.

Last year I wanted one chambered in .44 with the round barrel, and steel frame, and the large loop lever. I had to call Henry and special order the rifle, then go and pay for it at my FFL, then it took 4 month to get it. I couldn’t even find it online, they were all sold. I do love my Henry’s.

I’ve got a large loop Henry in .41mag currently weand I love it. They are noticeably heavier than the Chiappa, Marlins, or Winchester. However that Henry will be around forever and is a beautiful specimen.

I believe both of mine come in at 7 pounds each.

Mike's yeasterday AM had a single shot Henry chambered in 44Mag for $500.
    Great looking and handleing gun.
Seemed too cheap for a Henry.
I suspect that it could be pinched out to 444Marlin or somewhere in between.
    44Rem Mag X 2" seems appropriate. ---- SAWMAN
Sorry for the derail. Just couldn't stop. DAMN ME !!!
