I am needing a couple of smith revolvers reblued, I want a superb job and thinking about sending back to S&W but alas they charge a good bit, however they would be factory new again. Probally the best idea as they are a mod 27 and 28, 2 nice and valueable wheelguns. I heard of someone doing great work in the milton / pace area. Any sugestions? or should I just bite the bullet and send to factoey? Thanks.

Nice and valuable..untill you have them reblued. Then just nice. Turnbull has done a couple of rifles for me with spectacular results. If they were mine would go back to the factory custom shop. At least then you would have factory refurbished guns with some paperwork.

Might want to try this guy. He does a lot of work for the factories.
