Any ideas on how to make a shiny black gun a matte black gun

Ok hope I posted this in right area I have a mossberg maverick 88 magnum which is gloss black I've changed stocks to more of a tactical style which is the flat or matte Black now the receiver stands out like a sore thumb was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how I could make these match up a little.

Gotta pic? Is it shiny from bluing or from paint? If it's paint, you can take some 1500grit sandpaper and take the shine off. Flat black coatings are easier than ever now.

Throw a flat black Duracoat job on it.

It's not blued so it must be painted I didn't know they painted them it's more like powder coating can I just sand it and use nice spray paint

Duracoat is a 2 part finish system ( paint ) for firearms. Easy to apply and extremely durable. Ceracote is another option but requires baking at a specific temperature and is a PITA to get right for the DIY user. You can get a Duracoat kit for around 40$. MOA where can I buy that duracoat is it a gun thing or any hardware store carry it or do I have to order off line I checked on powdercoating dang I can buy a new gun at that rate lol I told the guy dude I didn't want it gold 89.78 to do the receiver and the heat shield

You order it online from Midway USA or Brownell's.

Bead blast it and parkerize.
