Wal-Marts in Tallahassee and Crestview had ammo at Normal Prices earlier this week.

For example, Winchester 30-06, 150 grain Soft Points, $19.98 per box of 20.

Shotgun Shells $7.99 per box of 25.

"Sane Prices" are available in stores.

Bought a box of federal 45 at shop in bay minette last week. $22.

He didn’t have much but he wasn’t gouging.

Decided to buy a couple bream busters while there.

I have learned that just because I lucked out and was at the right place at the right time to buy some ammo at today's normal prices does not mean that the shortage is over, it just means that I lucked out that one time. Judging from Academy here in Pensacola, the shortage May be easing just a bit though. Hopefully.......

Generally, ammo prices in bigger stores haven't changed much, it was a lack of availability to meet increased demand which continually stripped the shelves. It is good to hear ammo is being found on shelves without stalking shipments/deliveries. The buy/resell market may have slowed with enough folks unwilling to pay the self inserted profiteers.
