Thanks! I've never been a huge AK fan, but this thing has made me a believer. In fact, I've ordered their SAM7K pistol for my next SBR, so that, as Bruce says, I can "keep one in the pipe." Lol.
Taking this:

isnt the booster essential in such a short gas package? Then again, suppressor surely will fill the role as a booster

The booster is actually fake, and the twist and gas system is the same as on their 8.5" SBR, and it's been done before, so it should be fine. If it's not, I'll just cut the barrel flush and replace the fsb with a threaded one and add a 4 piece booster, which is what most do anyway with these things.

Need some advice on AK parts

I posted this elsewhere but I'm new to the forum so I'm not sure if you saw it - I recently purchased an SLR-95 and saw the pic of your build- very nice. I was wondering if you could tell me where you sourced your parts- I really like the handguards and the stock adapter. Thanks

Thanks! ACE manufacturing for the receiver block and pig nose adapter. Manticore hand guard, although in retrospect, Ultimak is a better choice if you actually plan on using the top rail.
