The ever given is still anchored in the bitter lakes while multiple international groups sort is all out. It is certainly very complicated

More Trouble for Evergreen Suez Canal Ship, Now Being Held Captive

The Ever Given got unstuck, but it's still being held in the Suez Canal, and this time the sticking point is cold, hard cash. A billion dollars' worth, in fact. https://www.caranddriver.com/news/a36083944/suez-canal-evergreen-ship-fined/

The women libers need to be sent to muslim countries to understand how much better they have it here.

Thanks for following the story and the updates. Nothing is simple is it? Sounds like Egypt is milking this for everything it's worth. And all the rats are scrambling to avoid blame. I wonder if Egypt like our dems are trying to get out ahead of a mistake they are responsible for. Just a thought and keeping with the theory "there are no coincidences."

Will the Ever Given owners or insurance company get the bill for the collisions it caused as the other ships behind it weren't able to stop and ran into each other?

They're going to go bankrupt and lose that boat. No way around it. Just write the boat off and abandon it

I have been told that admiralty law and other maritime laws is quite special and is different. The Egyptians do have that ship and its cargo in their territorial waters so I guess it is theirs until 'they' decide to let it go.
