    The short bbl guys should also consider the deminished terminal performance they will suffer for the super short bbls.
    If you want to turn your X39 and even that 308 into a 300BLK . . . go for it. --- SAWMAN

    You do not loose so much from the 7.62x39 in shorter barrels. It was designed for a 16 incher to begin with.
    With a 7 inch barrel the average 1940 with brown bear ammo 123 grain.
    Below with a 11.5 inch barrel. 2075 fps
    With a 16 inch barrel 2309 fps. So about a 370 fps loss.

    Crap, I can't find a bcg for under $200!
    Or a complete bolt assembly.
    I could share the bcg off my rifle, but would prefer each upper to have it's own dedicated bcg.
    And i need (2)in x39. One for this 10.5", and another for a very cool (to me) and rare 7.62x39 in an A2 configuration (yes, a real carry handle with adjustable rear sight) with a heavy 16" barrel, with A2 carbine handguard, front sight/gas block with bayo lug and bird cage.

    X39? Nice. I like mine 16 inch using PA 2.5x. Perfect combo. Just buy the bolt and use your existing carrier. Saunders? Armory has em. Normally...... now who knows
    Thanks! I could only order a bolt assembly from Sanders Armory. And it is probably on back order (roll eyes).
    When I tried to order a bcg, it said, "this product is protected and can not be purchased".
    But no further explanation.

    yeah, yeah. Well I checked them before for x39, x51, and 5.56 bcgs a couple times a week for a couple weeks, no dice.
    And yeah, I just dropped over $90 for just the bolt assembly. Oh, well. when the inflation kickes in with all the money they've been printing, and the Federal Reserve shows us their unelected power, we won't be able to find, much less buy a bcg for a million bucks. Heck I can't even find one now!

    Let them keep it up, and you'll see everybody finding themselves wearing whole damn belts full of magnum revolvers with matching magnum rifles. Then the powers that be will wish they had let us keep the evil black squirrel rifles and not sparked a freaking panic

    We likely will be limited to air riles of low power and with police approval single shot rim fire rifles and break open single barrel 2.5 inch .410 shotguns. It is for the children.

    Look to England for what happens when theres no guns among the people. I read a BBC article that said there were like 43,000 known edged weapons attacks in one year last year, just in England

    I predict even further back in technology. Bows and arrows. Until somebody snipes some perp from a hundred yards with a long bow and puts the fear of God back into the libtards, then we wont even have that

    "God made man. Sam Colt made them equal.", referring to the ability of the Colt Revolver to be used to protect oneself from one or several attackers.

    “Be not afraid of any man;
    No matter what his size;
    When danger threatens, call on me—
    And I will equalize!”

    Why not? Milled receiver, cheap donor guns, right side charger, gas piston

    Going from a rifle to a pistol, would have to register it as an SBR, granted, but that's do-able
