Wanted to type a quickie review on the Panzer Arms M4 that I picked up last night, which I ordered off of Classic Firearms. Initial impressions are quite good! It came with 3 chokes, choke case, choke wrench, safety glasses, and earplugs. Dry handling the shotgun reveals a very smooth action for the price. Metal and plastic quality appear good with a decent finish, however mine did arrive with scratches present here and there. This shotgun operates on the Benelli ARGO and cycled a few rounds of cheap birdshot fine. It does appear to be 1 to 1 clone of the Benelli, as I have dropped some GG&G parts in with zero modification needed. I do have 2 complaints or comment on the gun, however. The loading port is fairly sharp and doesnt have any bevel work done, which I have seen on cheaper shotguns. In addition, the false magazine extension is beyond tight on the gun. I viced down the gun, applied heat, wrenched, and still cannot get it off. So for the time being, I am stuck with a 4 round tube mag plus 2 (if you gHoSt load, which isnt very hard). So yeah, that's pretty much it. Cool gun, I'd recommend grabbing one if you get the chance.

Ha, forgot to mention, open to any advice on how to crank off that false extension! Videos on the Benelli don't make it look that hard and another review on classic said it is possible, but holy crap it is really on there!

Following. Fixing sharp edges and altering the feed port is pretty common mods especially if your intended use may require faster reloads. You'd think the removal of sharp edges would be a concern for shotguns in all price ranges, its not labor intensive or time consuming before going to finish/coating. Were the birdshot shells fired low brass light loads?

    Low brass Winchester "Western" loads!

Just a quick update! Cant find my long wrenches to get the stock off. I did get the dummy mag extension off, as well as the 2 gallons of loctite the factory used to fuse it to the magazine. My Tacstar M4 +2 extension is too long by about an inch and did not let the gun reassemble.

I wouldn't worry about an inch past muzzle. You won't get projectile strikes just some flash/gas blast. A long as there's no interference with choke tools.

I'm probably not articulating like I want to. The barrel is held on the M4 by a threaded cap on the far end of the magazine tube. The magazine tube with the extension is about an inch longer than the false extension, so the barrel does not go all the way onto the gun. I'll put up a pic when I can get access to it. A buddy of mine pointed me over to Dave's Metal Works, who fabricates full magazine tubes for M4s. Hopefully that'll work better than just a threaded extension.

Had a brain fart and was thinking of another type of tube extention. Bene & Panze both have 18.5 barrels and the funky 2 shell limiter, though the Bene just threads off by hand. Found Link on the bene part swap, their aftermarket part from FFT (direct Bene part copy), clearly a different taper point but what's important is the threads to threads distance comparsion between the stock and replacement parts. Your looks like the Tacstar offering . Link:

There's another Turkish M4 Clone (or just another branding) called the Toros Compolla T4, it even has the larger trigger guard, but a larger bolt handle. Mfr claims 100% parts compatibility with the Bene M4. If this and the Panzer are brothers of the same mother, the Panzer should also be 100% interchangeable with the Bene M4/exact replacement fit (the FFT direct copy fit) Link:

There's this fix too: one piece, 7 shot tube, Made in U.S.A (adds toward 922R compliance) $85:
