300 HAM'R

Contemplating an exchange of an AR15 to a 300 HAM'R from 223/5.56...Your thoughts on this if you own or have knowledge of same...Thanks

ALL depends on your end game, ie what do you intend to use it for ?
If you plan to just swap a 5.56 barrel to the 300 HAM'R , the down side is limited sources of barrels and maybe Mags. Limited reload data vs the 300 BO, same with store bought ammo. The up side might be a more suitable barrel twist.
No 1st hand experience, just what I've read

I have one and love it. If you reload it is a good way to go. Lancer 300 Blk out mags work great in it. Wilson Combat has ammo and parts along with complete rifles

Thanks for the reply...Im' looking to remove myself from the AR pistol change by the BATF. With all the limits given with the 300 HAM'R, gonna rethink it for now.
