28 nosler

Does anyone have any experience with 28 nosler? About to order a new rifle and it has my attention.

My buddy has one. I don't know what your intended use is. He shot a deer at about 400 yards with a 195 Berger end to end and it blood shocked a good bit of meat...and turned everything inside to jello....I think it will ruin a deer.

Definately an out west,long range,gun.
AND - -> only for the bigger animals using the right bullet.
Pronghorn using ANY bullet - -> uhhhh - -> NO !!
Possibly the bigger elk or caribou. The bigger mule deer - -> ??
Bear,other than black - - -> NO !! Best you could do is a 175gr NosPart and I would reccomend a larger caliber.
The hyper speed, medium bore guns would have no place in my safe. --- SAWMAN

I have a Christensen Arms 28 Nosler. It’s very flat shooting and recoil is minimal! It’s definitely over kill for around here unless you have a 700yd gas or power line you can hunt.

I believe with the proper bullet you could kill anything in North American with it even at distance!
