As a word of caution, be careful with old pyrotechnics. I’ve fired a bunch of old flares, and some work fine, others can do really weird stuff, and hang-fires are scary
That said, I’m waiting to try out a long-expired rocket propelled line thrower next, so I’m not saying don’t use old pyrotechnics, just be very careful
