Need a new .22 for my grandson - he has outgrown his Cricket.

Looking for something that is decent but don't want to spend over $300. Synthetic stock would be nice as would something that is tapped so that we could mount a scope later on.

    Don't want a single shot.

    Thanks.

    Is it any good?

I saw that Academy has it for $169. Pretty cheap!

    Thanks for responding
Yes it is a great .22 mag rifle for a great price! I have had one for more than 2 years. I mounted an inexpensive Simmons .22 Mag 4x scope on it and it is a tack driver! They also make a .22 LR version that is about $130 I'm sure it's equal in bang for the buck!
