15-22 accessories???

Does anyone know if I can change out the stock on my M&P 15-22?? It seems fairly close to an AR platform but I haven’t seen a clear answer online.

Yes you can, the factory tube is milspec (1.150 iirc) but commercial spec stocks will fit too, just might have a little bit of wobble.

When they were first released, there was a pistol version without the molded tube. They took it off the market though. Really wish I would have picked one up back then.

It's also threaded and accurate. Best trainer and 100% reliable, best ar .22 made. ymmv. Love it.

Yes stocks are interchangeable! Like Rebel_Rider1969 said they are VERY reliable! Mine will shoot crappy bulk ammo that would choke in my Ruger 10-22! IMO, the S&W magazines are the key to their reliability and they are a piece of cake to load unlike many others!

It is. Also cycles cci standard and win 42gr subsonic. Not huge if you add a can! Easy to clean as well. Trigger is good and I believe you can use an AR cassette type trigger.Trigger. Like I said best ar .22 trainer made. Would make a great small critter gun with spitfire 3x or PA 2.5x. Ymmv.
