Yeah I have a ton of pine that I've already cut down that I need to have cut into planks.

      Who buys trees?

I have 6 more to cut and a couple are over 24" in diameter. I hate cutting anything other than pines.

My wife wants a "normal" size house lol. Especially since we have 2 girls; 4 year old and a 1 year old.

      Who buys trees?

I have a bunch of oak trees (pineoak) that I had to cut down for the power company to run lines. I really don't want to waste these. Does anyone know of someone who will buy lengths of them cut? I can cut em up in any length, but I have about 8 of them I think. Sizes are from 8" to about 20".

From FL? Mostly dealing with the code changes from December. HVAC, minimum ceiling height, architect's drawings for the code are just too expensive. Floridas not the state to diy build, at least not in Escambia Co. I'll move to a more free state before attempting again.

Hey yall, Im going a different direction with the cabin. Still doing the homesite, but just going to have a stick build instead of a cabin. Florida is making me jump through too many hoops. Is there any recommendations for a dirt guy to bring in dirt for a homesite and level it? Thanks!

      Disingenuous

I was just thinking about that recently. Since I joined in 2016, I had never had a bad or even shady deal until 2023. Just sad what the people my age and younger have grown up to be.

Economics 101..a drunk monkey could do better?

Well after reading the original post. Not sure how to think except for being thankful that I'm not in a majority of the bad stats. Gosh. My Pop and grandpa really did have it good. Glad they raised me like it was the 50s and 60s.

      Know Someone?

I normally do all my own work but the last time I took my SUV to have work done it was at Able Auto Repair. They did a good job and did it fast. Supposedly Christian folk, but who knows what that means these days. Here's their address: https://maps.app.goo.gl/wAPw4YeEWmW396CP9
