      Thanks, I'll check it out. I actually bought a Hatsan 95 and have enjoyed being able to target shoot in the backyard. Kinda nice stepping right out back and ringing some steel targets, but it won't replace burning powder.

      Thinking I'll go with the 22 caliber, Hatson 95. A bit out of the $125 price range, but it looks nice and is rated plenty powerful.

      Steel cased 308 win ammo

      Cheers back! I have heard there are sometimes cycling /ejection issues in semis due to steel case expansion but not so much with bolt actions like mine. My main concern was gooping up the works with any coatings or accelerating corrosion with "cheap" ammo. Sure would be nice to shoot at that...

      Just looking for some sage advice on 308 ammo. I was looking at some sub .50/round, circa 1980's, steel cased NATO ammo for target use in my Mossy MVP. Is this cheap stuff detrimental to the gun if I'm judiciously cleaning it afterwards? 308 newby question I guess, but that's me!
