My great grand father (born 1840 - died 1911) homesteaded 80 acres on the upper end of pine log creek , in Washington County florida , south of Chipley. We still have a family cemetary there.
I have been reading a book called " Chaplains in gray ". It's about the clergy in the Confederate army . Not only was he a great leader of men in war . But he cared a great deal about the souls of his men.
Very interesting. My first shotgun when I joined the Patrol was an ithaca riot gun with the trigger disconnect . I feel sure this shotgun has an old and neat history . Thanks for sharing .
Yesiree , I still have guns and ammo magazines from the 70's . My sister gave me a subscription for Christmas one year . Several field and stream also . Still some great reading .
