Got an old Marlin that needs some love. Who do you recommend for bluing? I’m in Pensacola but willing to travel a ways to get a good job.

I would send it to Ford refinishing in South Florida. They are the industry standard and who who does factory refinishes for Colt Smith and Wesson and a few other manufacturers. They also have the factory stamps for many manufacturers to stamp a gun if the cleaning process takes too much.

Any idea of what something like that might cost? I've got an old S&W mod 19 that could use some love.

He did a 27-2 6” for me a while back. It was rough. Think it was $275. I thought it turned out really good.
